Damn, no exciting subject line...

The last few days have been pretty good. A nice incident happened at work on friday; there was a couple of guys at work early in the morning with a stolen credit card, so Adam took it off them and phoned the police. The policeman came at about 12, and him and Adam were out the back for a while. During this period, the officer's van was sat in full view of the whole forecourt. So after about half an hour, probably the stupidest man on earth came in and attempted to pay for his fuel with a stolen credit card. So I took it off him, Adam took it out the back and the guy tried to run off, and got himself arrested. What in god's name was he hoping would happen? ... I was standing there in disbelief for about 15 minutes. People are amazing.

So I had to stay after work for about an hour giving a statement and stuff. Quite exciting. Then cycled into Rugby for typical night out, although I made the mistake of having a steak from spoonies. They're usually bad, but edible; this one made me feel horribly ill and had the consistency of a week-old jelly which had been stored in a rolled up corpse in a septic tank. Not impressed.

Felt ill for quite a while, then felt tired, then felt fine... I was a bit disappointing though because I didn't drink after 10 o'clock! I guess I can be excused because of O'Hagan's charging £2.60 for a pint. Anyway, no hangover so I guess that's ok.

Then on saturday we went to Kelly's for a wee jam. Good fun!

Mum's birthday tomorrow, but I'm not going to see her which is a shame. So we had champagne and stuff with some of her friends when I got back from work. They told horrifying stories about tampons and passing out naked and I sat and wondered if I would seem like a coward if I ran away. I decided that yes I would, so I stayed and cringed. Now I'm just being knackered!
